About the Journal
EDUKASI: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam (e-Journal) is peer-reviewed national journal published biannually by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Muhammadiyah Tulungagung, East Java, Indonesia since 2013 (printed) and 2014 (online). EDUKASI has been accredited by The Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The languages used in this journal since 2015 are English and Indonesia. This journal in collaboration with the Association of Muslim Community in ASEAN (AMCA).
The journal publishes articles on Islamic Education covering both literary and fieldwork studies twice a year (January-June; and July-December). The journal puts emphasis on aspects related to Islamic Education and Islamic studies, with special reference to Islamic philosophy and Mysticism, Islamic politics and Society, Tafsir and Hadith, Islamic Education and History, Teaching and Learning, Arabic Language Teaching, Curriculum Development, Religious Study, Islamic Perspective on Gender, Islamic law and Economics, Law and Educational Perspective, Islamic Education Culture, and Islamic Education Policy.
EDUKASI is an open-access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
EDUKASI has been indexed by Crossref since 2015. Therefore, all articles have unique DOI number.
